We just finished the fun chore of unpacking boxes of some new fall arrivals at the shop, just in time for the cooler weather that has descended upon the DC area this week.  Think lightweight cashmere sweaters, comfy knit cardigans and wraps with built-in scarves, gorgeous silk tops with ruffle details, and jewel-tone colors like peacock greens and brilliant blues, bright fuchsias and ruby reds, which make for the perfect transition pieces that can be worn now and well into the new season.

In Love With Loeffler Randall

My own love affair with Loeffler Randall started several years ago, when designer Jessie Randall and the apartment that she decorated with her husband and business partner, Brian Murphy, was featured on the cover of Domino, one of my all-time favorite magazines (now shuttered, a sad casualty of the recession).  She - and her apartment - seemed to be the ultimate definition of "effortless chic". 

Fast forward 3 years later and Loeffler Randall's designs - which have expanded beyond bags and shoes to include clothing - continue to be a personal favorite.  And these new shoe styles that we just received at TREAT do not disappoint!  My heart skipped a beat when I first saw them.  For all of you who share our love for these beauties, hurry in and grab yours before they're all gone, especially at these amazing prices!

Up and Coming

While we adore all of our old standbys like Nanette Lepore dresses and Kooba handbags, we also like to feature items from lesser known, up and coming designers at our shop from time to time.  This week, Rocco e Dante handbags from Seattle-based designer Tara Sauvage have just arrived, and we are smitten!  The line, named after her two adorable pugs Rocco and Dante, has been featured in Lucky and Seattle magazines.
